For people finding old email attachments · free · no login

Find the attachment without the scrolling.

Combine what you remember about an attachment into a Gmail search query. Copy it, paste it into Gmail’s search box, and inspect the matching messages to find your file.

Gmail’s own search options and documented search operators are the native alternative. This tool prepares the query locally; it does not connect to your inbox or change any mail. Inputs and results stay in this browser until you copy or download them. Usage events exclude your fields and query.

1. Add what you know

Choose at least one field. Every filled field narrows the same search. The example is fictional; editing it keeps its sample label. Start with your own search to clear every field.

Input: your own search

Size applies to the whole message, including its attachments. It is not an individual file-size filter.

The date uses Gmail’s search interpretation. Check messages near the boundary; this is not a precise UTC cutoff.

Gmail can show an entire conversation if one message matches, including other starred messages. Inspect each actual message. Search results are not a safe deletion list.
